We booked Burlison Photography & Film for our wedding after doing extensive research on options in the Hampshire/south of England area, and were blown away by the quality of their work.
They are hands down absolutely the best Photographer/ Videographer my husband or I could have hoped for and ever experienced. Dave is incredibly personable with easy banter, and made everyone comfortable (posing for photos can be quite stressful!), whilst also being very professional and giving us better photos than we could have imagined. The films are just magic!

We originally met Dave and Janice at a wedding fair at Pennyhill Park and we immediately felt like they were the company we wanted to use to capture the best day of our lives.
The reasons we felt so strongly about hiring them were that they weren’t pushy, trying to desperately book anything and truly listened and engaged in such a genuine conversation with us. We then coincidentally met them again at our (what would be) wedding venue at another wedding fare, and they remembered us. Selecting our Wedding Photographer & Videographer was one of the biggest decisions for us as we spent so much time and effort planning our wedding, so it was important to find the right people to help capture the memories that we can keep with us forever. I remember the first conversion I had with Dave and he immediately put me at ease and I felt confident that he was the right person to go with. Naturally funny and always knowing the right things to say, this continued to be the case on the day as was evident with the lovely expressions on ourselves and our guests captured throughout. He has the ability to take the right photo at the right time, bringing out everyone’s best smile.
I was blown away with how organised Dave was from the beginning, providing me with more than ample information and lists of important people he needed to be aware of. From the information he was asking of me, I was very assured that we were in safe hands. Being a multi-cultural wedding with various unique moments and events occurring, there were so many key events we wanted captured. They were also so flexible with our timings and made the extra effort to suit our needs.
On the day, both Dave and John (who was the videographer) were very professional, friendly and able to accommodate our needs and get through our extensive list of group shots! There was a moment where he could sense we were spending too much time simply taking photos and decided to break it up by allowing us to mingle with the crowd for a bit before finishing the session later on. Later on in the evening, he came to us when there was a great opportunity to take a few more couple shots outside which we managed to squeeze in. He was very good at sensing when to allow us to relax and enjoy the day and when to take photos. It never felt like a chore and despite that, managed to get so many great shots in throughout the day. It was helpful having both of them on the same team as they worked well in sync, seamlessly together without any disruptions.
In terms of editing the photos and videos, they have done such an amazing job and included everything we needed. We even got an extra highlights video in addition to an extended version where I had specifically mentioned numerous things we wanted to have, including the ceremony, speeches, first dance in full and much more footage of the entire day, beautifully edited with songs of our choice. Everyone who has seen our photos and videos have commented on the high quality and echo my thoughts on how natural and happy everyone looks!

Myself and my husband cannot thank Burlison enough! From our first consultation with them they were very informative and clear on everything from what to expect to pricing. They even carried out a site visit prior to the wedding to ensure they knew exactly where they needed to be!
On the day they turned up early for my bridal prep to get lots of lovey shots of my bridal party and mum, these are still some of my favourite photographs. We also love the group photographs taken from the drone, something I have never experienced at a wedding before!
